As I sit and look at the gloomy skies waiting on the rain, I am already missing all of the wonderful people that made the 2018 Bongards Market such a huge success!
Last week was our last market for the season, but I would be remiss if I did not send a note out to all of our vendors, customers, loyal supporters, and PoP Club families. THANK YOU for your patronage at the market this year. We are more than just a place to buy and sell vegetables, we are a community that loves and supports one another.
And so as we “close down” our 2018 season, I just want to say:
- Special blessings to all of our vendors, who are the backbone of our market, and the center of our community…. May your harvests always be plentiful!
- Special blessings to our PoP Club kids…. keep eating those vegetables!
- Special thanks to all our loyal customers…. we will miss your smiling faces until next year!
- Special thanks to everyone who donated shoes for the Shoe Away Hunger program… your generosity gives both shoes and meals to those who need it most!
THANK YOU to everyone who is a part of this very special community here in the parking lot of St. John’s UCC. We will see you next summer!
Blessings and peace,
Pastor Cathy Kolwey
